Rachel Kinsman is an artist and observer of the hidden, the overlooked and the fragile. The use of chiaroscuro is fundamental to her exploration, drawing out details and intensities to demonstrate the incredible power, passion and design in nature.

She gathers inspiration from the Renaissance and the Gothic. An interest in the repetitive structures of the natural world, juxtaposed with the untameable spontaneity of creation; works that are centred around observation, intense detail and recreation or celebration of life and vision.
